    Harlingen South students evacuated after power outage

    HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Harlingen High School students were temporarily evacuated after a power outage on campus, the district announced. The evacuation started after smoke was detected in the cafeteria just before 3 p.m. No injuries were reported. The Harlingen Fire Department investigated the case and has cleared the building for re-entry.
