The U.S. Senate dismissed both articles of impeachment against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas after they were deemed unconstitutional in a party-line vote.
It was the first time in almost 150 years the chamber had considered a US cabinet secretary's impeachment.
