    National Weather Service tornado surveys

    The National Weather Service has confirmed three tornadoes in Michigan from the storms that rolled through the state on May 7th, 2024, with one still being investigated. There was a confirmed EF1 tornado in Branch County, another EF1 in Cass County, and a powerful EF2 tornado in Kalamazoo County.
