Today, LG opened its "LG OS Preview" for LG G7 ThinQ users in the brand's home region of South Korea which could signal that the phone maker is gearing up to push the Android Pie update in the coming weeks. Note that this update is different from the Pie update that rolled out on the Android One edition of the phone, which doens't have LG-branded software.

LG Q9 appeared in a render last week with a striking similarity to the already revealed LG G7 Fit. Further info, unveiled by Google Android Enterprise website showcased the same front with the same specs, but with the LG Q9 moniker. A phone with a model number LM-Q925S was also certified in South Korea, suggesting the phone is nothing but a renamed device for the domestic market.

It appears that LG is about to change this trend, as a European variant of the V40 received a certification for wireless charging. The device was listed with two codes - LM-V405EB and LV-V405EBW, and according to sources, this is indeed the variant for the Old Continent.
