    Madera Police Officers Phillip Thomas and Tristan Okpalaugo responded to a theft of beer from a local business Sunday night. Officers located the suspects in the 100 block of S. C St. They were identified as 18-year-old Dorian Chavez and 18-year-old Leon Amado. They attempted to flee on foot as officers contacted them.
