    Fire at Market Lake Wildlife Management Area near Roberts is fully contained

    The fire at the Market Lake Wildlife Management Area near Roberts is now fully contained. According to the Roberts Fire Department Chief, Jerry Vanleuven, over 100 acres of land was burned in the field. The fire was caused after a controlled fire got out of hand, due to windy conditions. No one was reported injured in the fire. Crews will continue to monitor the field this evening, while conducting spot checks around the perimeter.
