Xbox head Phil Spencer is well aware that plenty of you out there want a new Banjo-Kazooie game, as he talks about revisiting older titles. Banjo-Kazooie is a bit of an odd series. It had two beloved platformers on the N64, a couple of fine-looking Game Boy Advance games, and didn't receive a true sequel until 2008's Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (i.e. Tears of the Kingdom before Tears of the Kingdom, even if it wasn't executed… perfectly). And while it doesn't have the largest fan base in the...
Despite some earlier comments, Xbox Head Phil Spencer has cleared the air on whether we might see Game Pass on PlayStation or Nintendo consoles. Towards the end of last month, chief financial officer at Xbox Tim Stuart said in a presentation at a Wells Fargo TMT Summit that the games company wants to "bring our first-party experiences [and] our subscription services to every screen that can play games. That means smart TVs, that means mobile devices, that means what we would have thought of...
Epic Games is continuing its quest to make Fortnite an everything game, as it announces Lego Fortnite and more. Earlier this week, the launch of Fortnite Chapter 5 brought with it Solid Snake, Peter Griffin, and Eminem in the game's first live event in almost a year. It ended with the game's OG Island being sucked into a black hole again (even if Epic has promised it plans to bring it back next year), but the biggest announcements were a trio of new games all playable within Fortnite itself:...
The first trailer for the second season of the Halo TV series is here, giving us a first look at the very thing the name is based on (it's a Halo). Paramount showed off the trailer for Halo season two yesterday, and while it's mostly just dramatic shots of characters looking emotional about something or other, it does offer us glimpses of the main things everyone loves about the series: Master Chief, the Covenant, and that titular Halo. Better still, for those of you that enjoyed the first...
After a long wait, Sea of Thieves is finally adding in private servers when the game's next update arrives next week. With this update, players will now be able to form crews of up to four players, as usual, on a private server, with all of the PvE content...
To the surprise of presumably no one, Capcom has in fact confirmed that it's planning another Resident Evil remake - but it hasn't said which game's getting one. It's no secret that Capcom's Resident Evil remakes have been doing exceptionally well - Resident Evil 4 Remake sold three million copies within its first two days. So hearing that Capcom is working on more was pretty much a given. Resident Evil 4 Remake director Yasuhiro Anpo was the one to confirm more remakes are on the way, quite...
Sega appears to have sent letters to numerous content creators where it's been teasing a "new era, new energy," at next week's The Game Awards. Earlier this week, Twitch streamer CuriousJoi shared a video showing a letter she received from Sega saying that she should "make sure to tune in to The Game Awards December 7th." Aside from the aforementioned tagline, there weren't any other details provided about what we could expect to see at the awards show, so all we really know right now is that...

While the DLC isn't due out until sometime in 2024, it's looking like New Game+ should be arriving sometime this month. Earlier this week,...

Some footage of what is allegedly GTA 6 has popped up online, and it's mainly just a look at a city on a computer screen. Before we go any further, we would like to point out there's no way of knowing if what is shown is actually GTA 6. Some online have suggested it's a highly modded version of GTA 5, while others feel it's the real deal.Again, we have no way of confirming any of this, so take what you see online for what it is: footage of a city shown on a computer screen.
