    CAMERON COUNTY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Cameron County Sheriff's Deputies are undergoing new taser training. The sheriff's office recently purchased these tasers using leftover funds in their budget. Deputies say tasers are another option they have when dealing with any dangerous encounters. Since they're non-lethal, the tools will serve as a safer alternative to other weapons.
