Sarnia Observer— Sarnia's first police dog in about three decades, the 15-month-old German Shepherd originally from Slovenia, was introduced to the public at the city's police station Tuesday.

A woman was walking her dog Sunday on Chicago's South Side when an unleashed pit bull began to bite her dog's neck. She fatally shot the pit bull. A source told ABC7 the woman was an off-duty CPD officer.

A member of staff found the dead dogs on coming to work on Saturday morning. Some of the dogs, which are left locked up alone at night with camera surveillance, were still alive and were rushed to a veterinary hospital. “The owners of the dogs are extremely sad and have lots of questions which have not been answered yet.
