Sarnia Observer— Sarnia's first police dog in about three decades, the 15-month-old German Shepherd originally from Slovenia, was introduced to the public at the city's police station Tuesday.

A woman was walking her dog Sunday on Chicago's South Side when an unleashed pit bull began to bite her dog's neck. She fatally shot the pit bull. A source told ABC7 the woman was an off-duty CPD officer.

Some of the dogs, which are left locked up alone at night with camera surveillance, were still alive and were rushed to a veterinary hospital. “The owners of the dogs are extremely sad and have lots of questions which have not been answered yet.
