Two Katy ISD trustees who voted against transgender policy face opponents in re-election campaign

Houston Public Media— Trustees Rebecca Fox and Dawn Champagne voted against a policy that would require teachers to notify parents whose kids came out as transgender. While the policy was hotly contested, their votes drew criticism from some conservative members of the community.

Houston Public Media—Fort Bend ISD trustee faces multiple opponents in re-election campaign as colleagues endorse other candidates. Trustee Kristen Malone has been openly critical of the school board, alleging others forced out the superintendent. Some board members have endorsed one of her opponents.
