While we started the week on a quiet note, storms return starting tomorrow. Portions of central Kansas have already been highlighted for the potential for strong storms on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Today is a Weather Aware Day with all forms of severe weather possible. A Tornado Watch has been issued for a large portion of Central and Eastern Kansas through 7 PM.
Strong winds will be the main story as we start the workweek. Southerly flow will pull warmer air into the region, helping temperatures warm up significantly. Gusts from 30-40 MPH are expected across the region.
