The 22News Storm Team has issued a Weather Alert for the potential of a few strong thunderstorms with gusty winds and hail on Wednesday.
Nine of the twelve Dutch provinces were placed under a weather warning for thunderstorms, hail, and strong weather gusts on Monday night. The alert from national meteorological office KNMI took effect at 5 p.m., and was expected to last until 9 p.m.The Code Yellow Weather Warning covered the provinces of Drenthe, Flevoland, Friesland, Gelderland, Groningen, Noord-Brabant, Noord-Holland, Overijssel and Utrecht. The alert was also in place in the Wadden Islands area and the IJsselmeer region.
