Sterling structure fire causes heavy smoke, prompts response from fire crews

WJLA— A structure fire in Sterling, Virginia Monday evening prompted a large response from Loudoun County Fire Rescue and nearby departments, according to officials.

KHON2—Fire officials investigate cause, origin of two-story structure fire in Kailua. Officials said the call came in just after 1 p.m. when it was reported that smoke was coming out of a two-story residential structure on North Kalaheo Avenue.

KOLD—Structure fire, explosions in Whetstone cause evacuations. The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office said several homes were evacuated “due to the fire and material/items at that location detonating.”
