State closes down resort restaurant at Waikoloa due to rodents

Honolulu Star-Advertiser— The state Health Department today issued a red placard to the Ocean Club at Halii Kai in Waikoloa, immediately shutting the restaurant down due to an active rodent infestation.

USA Today—Walmart will close all of its 51 health centers in 5 states due to rising costs. Walmart announced plans to shutter its network of 51 health clinics, which are located in five states, along with its telehealth business.

KPTV—Steel Bridge closed due to train derailment. The Steel Bridge in Portland is closed Monday due to a train derailment.

The Philippine Star—103 areas under state of calamity due to heat. A total of 103 cities and towns have been placed under a state of calamity because of El Niño, while the number of persons affected by the weather phenomenon has reached 2.1 million, according to Task Force El Niño spokesman and Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Joey Villarama.
