The News on 6— High winds and rain whipped through Moore, Oklahoma Monday night. These severe storms caused several power flashes back to back, caught on camera by News 9 storm tracker Tom Pastrano.

USA Today—Texas power outage map: Severe storms leave nearly 800,000 homes, businesses without power. Severe storms hit the Houston area Thursday night, killing four people and leaving hundreds of thousands of customers without power.

CP24—Squirrel to blame for outage that left thousands without power downtown: Toronto Hydro. Toronto Hydro says a squirrel is to blame for a transformer fire that left thousands of customers without power in the city's downtown core.  A spokesperson for Toronto Fire told CP24 that a transformer pole caught fire near George Street and King Street East, resulting in a power outage in the surrounding area.
