Pedestrian killed on Evangeline Thruway early Friday morning

KLFY— Anthony Derouen, 63, of Lafayette, was pronunced dead at the scene of a crash in the 1400 block of SW Evangeline Thruway, according to Lafayette Police.
KLFY—Accidents on Evangeline Thruway had eastbound lanes blocked during Friday morning rush hour. Evangeline Thruway was a mess this morning, as two separate accidents left all eastbound lanes blocked, according to the Department of Transportation and Development.
WGNO—Man killed in early morning shooting in Marigny. The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened in the Marigny area.
