North Little Rock breaks ground on new animal shelter

Arkansas Times— The current facility at 1 Championship Drive was built in 1961 and, as Hartwick said, "has not had anything added since the '80s."

KLFY—Animal shelter overcrowded and closed to new animals. St. Landry Parish Animal Control is dedicated to helping animals in need across the parish, but with the shelter reaching capacity, they’re going to need help if that mission is to continue.
