‘No oversight,’ horse, burro advocates question upcoming BLM round up of 305 wild animals

LASVEGASNOW— The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is preparing for another round up of horses and burros that’s provoking advocates to question if it’ll be as deadly as round ups past.

LASVEGASNOW—Wild horse, burrow advocates concerned with ‘black hole’ facility BLM will send animals. Over 300 horses and burros are the subject of a round up this week, though animal advocates are concerned about where they’ll end up going, how they’ll get there and how long they’ll remain in captivity.

LASVEGASNOW—BLM increases reward for information on California wild burro killings. LAS VEGAS (KLAS) - The Bureau of Land Management announced an increased reward of $36,000 for information leading to justice in the shooting and killing of 19 wild burros. The killings took place between Baker, California, and Primm, Nevada in August of 2019. BLM is again offering a $10,000 reward in the ongoing investigation. Additional rewards []
