National Guard athletes finish strong at the 47th Annual Lincoln Marathon

DVIDS— Twenty-one of the National Guard’s best athletes from the All Guard Marathon Team competed in the 47th annual Lincoln Marathon, May 5, 2024, in Lincoln, Nebraska. The competitors represented 17 states and territories, traveling as far as Puerto Rico.
DVIDS—Ohio Air National Guard member earns 2023 Athlete of the Year for ANG. During morning formation, the Force Support Squadron gathered to recognize Maj. Timothy Gribble, personnel flight commander for the 179th Cyberspace Wing, Mansfield, Ohio, as it was announced that he had been awarded 2023 Athlete of the year for the AIr National Guard.
Olympics—KM Deeksha shatters 1500m national record in LA athletics meet; Avinash Sable finishes second in 5000m. India’s KM Deeksha set a national record in the women’s 1500m race at the Track Fest 2024 athletics meet in Los Angeles. Avinash Sable finished second in the 5000m.
