MPBL: Manila nips Caloocan as Davao, Quezon book wins

The Philippine Star— Filipino-American DJ Mitchell drilled in a deep corner triple while Carl Bryan Cruz canned two charities in the last 39 seconds to lift Manila past debuting Caloocan, 69-66, in the 6th MPBL (Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League) Season.
The Philippine Star—Davao, Quezon escape with OT wins in MPBL. Davao was saved by a Hail Mary shot, while Quezon got a reprieve from a missed free throw as they squeezed out overtime victories over Bataan and Zamboanga, respectively, in the 6th MPBL Season.
The Philippine Star—Davao, Pampanga, Biñan book lopsided wins. Routs were the order of the day as Davao Occidental won by 64 points, Pampanga by 35 and Biñan by 19 in the MPBL Season 6 elims Friday at the Alonte Sports Arena in Biñan, Laguna.
