Letters to the Editor: We don't need another O.J. circus. No cameras at Trump's trial is the right call

by Los Angeles Times

Los Angeles Times— To the editor: I completely disagree with Lorraine Ali's opinion that not televising the hush money and 2016 election interference trial of the former president is a disservice to the public. The primary goal of a criminal trial is to determine the facts and dispense justice, not entertain the masses. All those interested in staying informed about the daily trial proceedings in New York can watch the news coverage or read about it. As someone who worked in the superior courts of California for...

MSNBC—Eric Trump’s court presence at Donald Trump’s trial didn’t help his dad’s ‘family man’ strategy. Don’t believe me? After the press noted that Trump was sitting alone...

HuffPost—Willow Smith Enters Nepo Baby Discourse: ‘I Don’t Need To Prove S**t To Anybody’. The 23-year-old told Allure she’s “never going to deny” having privilege, but the criticism itself has “driven” her “to work really hard to prove them wrong.”

Honolulu Star-Advertiser—Letter: Don’t believe the lies, Trump is a criminal. Perhaps the author of a recent letter understands how Donald Trump’s attorney general, Bill Barr, put his finger on the scales of justice numerous times and that Trump has promised to do so if reelected, since he believes that’s what presidents do (“Biden is a dictator using agencies to ruin Trump,” Star-Advertiser, April 16). Of course, he laughingly denies Trump ever did it. See the Mueller report or Michael Cohen or Geoffrey Berman as proof of the fact.
