Letter to the editor: Protesters ignorant of Middle East history

The Washington Times— Our colleges need to teach the history of the Middle East (“Rep. Omar cheers Columbia protesters for ‘bravery and courage’ after visiting anti-Israel encampment,” web, April 25).

The Washington Times—Letter to the editor: Make no mistake -- they're protesting Jews. Isn’t it remarkable that centers of higher education across these fruited plains are hosting a fifth column of anti-American and aggressively antisemitic thugs with nary a strong peep from the adults on campus (“Columbia shuts down campus after anti-Israel protesters take over Hamilton Hall,” web, April 30)?
