Vermilion Today—North Vermilion High searching for head football coach. Joe Heintz stepped down after only one year Joe Heintz is leaving North Vermilion for a possible job at Teurlings High School. Joe Heintz was named as the head coach of the North Vermilion High football team in April 2023. However, he resigned from his position a year later in April 2024.
