District Attorney Erik Narasenko announced Friday a life sentence plus 27 years without parole for David Guadalupe Calderon for the first-degree murder of Edwin Herrera, according to the Ventura County District Attorney's Office (VC DA's Office).
"In my 21 years as a judge, I have not seen a more pre-meditated murder and a more relentless pursuit of a victim," said Judge Timothy Sanner, who presided over the case, in the press release.
