Houston-area flood advisories still in effect Sunday after overnight storms

Houston Public Media— Residents along the east fork of the San Jacinto River from FM 1485 to Lake Houston have been under a mandatory evacuation order since Friday, when County Judge Lina Hidalgo said river flooding conditions were catastrophic, and only getting worse this weekend.

KSDK—Flooding, storm damage reported in wake of severe storms in St. Louis area. Flooding, downed trees and a water rescue have been reported from heavy downpours and strong winds associated with severe weather.
