MYHIGHPLAINS— The United Family announced that through its Take a Bite Out of Hunger program, more than 50,000 pounds of apples were donated to organizations across Texas and New Mexico including the High Plains Food Bank which received more than 5,000 pounds of apples on Wednesday morning.
