Hidalgo County municipal races marked by incumbent upsets

The Monitor— It was a night of upsets in Hidalgo County as incumbents across several cities lost their bids to keep their seats on their respective city councils during Saturday’s municipal elections.

WBOY—Incumbent Monongalia County judges loses. All election night results are in for Monongalia County, and there was an upset in the race for Division 1’s 21st Circuit Court judge.

WV MetroNews—Could be runoff in Raleigh County circuit judge race. Unofficial totals show top vote getter failed to get the required 30% of the vote.

Herald Democrat—County commissioners run off race just around the corner.
