Alex Garland's "Civil War" fended off incursions from new movies to retain its box office title for the second weekend in a row. The provocative film, from independent A24, is expected to generate about $11.1 million in ticket sales in the U.S. and Canada through Sunday, bringing its total domestic box gross to $44.9 million, according to Comscore. Civil War dropped 56.4% from last weekend's $25.5 million debut to win for a second straight weekend with an estimated $11.1 million, via Box Office Mojo. It managed to hold off Universal's Abigail, which debuted in second place with an estimated $10.2 million. Given how close both films are, it's possible they may switch places when the final numbers are released on Monday
