WCCB Charlotte— One person was seriously injured and three of the four inbound lanes on East Independence Boulevard are closed Wednesday afternoon due to multiple vehicle crashes caused by fallen debris.

According to Longmont Public Safety spokeswoman Robin Ericson, at 6:17 a.m. Longmont police were dispatched to an injury crash in the area of 17th Avenue and Collyer Street. Upon arrival, officers were advised a female wearing a black hoodie was involved in the crash and was running north on Collyer Street. A second officer located a female matching the description in the 1800 block of Collyer Street.
