EPA's 'Solar for All' program awards $86 million to Oregon Dept. of Energy to bring solar to low-income households

KTVZ— SEATTLE (KTVZ) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced Tuesday that the Oregon Department of Energy has been selected to receive $86.6 million through the Solar for All grant competition to develop long-lasting solar programs that enable low-income and disadvantaged communities to deploy and benefit from distributed residential solar. www.utilitydive.com—EPA awards $7B to 60 low-income solar access programs. The funds will support community solar programs as well as initiatives to provide loans and grants to low-income households looking to install rooftop solar, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Arkansas Times—EPA awards $94 million to Arkansas solar projects in disadvantaged communities. Hope Enterprise Corporation was awarded $93,670,000 for solar projects in Arkansas.
