EPA allows companies responsible for San Jacinto River’s waste pits to do clean-up work, residents frustrated with delays

Houston Public Media— The EPA had previously sent a notice with plans to potentially takeover cleaning up the site. The two waste pits in the river are considered Superfund sites and have been on the EPA's clean-up list since 2008.
