Drier Monday ahead -- when the next round of strong storms hits

FOX 8 Cleveland— Scattered rain and thunderstorms will continue to move east and out of the area this evening. Most of the activity has remained east of I-71. A few thunderstorms could contain small hail and gusty conditions. Most of the rain will be out of here by 8 p.m. Drier tonight and tomorrow.

DOTHANFIRST—Sunshine expected this weekend ahead of another round of strong storms next week. DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN)– After a morning of damaging thunderstorms, skies have cleared out and the threat of any thunderstorms has ended until next week. WAPT—Heavy rain and a few strong storms this morning, next round arrives tonight. A yellow alert day has been issued for central Mississippi this morning and this evening for the threat of a gusty storm and flash flooding.

WSB-TV—Storms possible Friday afternoon with potential for more strong storms ahead this weekend. The severe weather risk goes up overnight and especially into tomorrow as a warm front lifts north.
