City of Amarillo Parks and Recreation Department to plant new trees at Ellwood Park for Arbor Day event

MYHIGHPLAINS— The City of Amarillo Parks and Recreation Department is set to host a 'unique' Arbor Day event on Friday in which five Bur Oak trees will be planted in Ellwood Park with students at St. Mary's Catholic School participating in the National Arbor Day celebration, according to organizers.
