The area has been experiencing heavy rains in recent days, and rescue workers have taken 30 people to the hospital, the report said.

South China Morning Post—Rescuers in China’s Guangdong race to save residents from flooding. Emergency workers send food and materials to city of Shaoguan, where large areas are flooded and landslides have been reported, while more than 60,000 people have been relocated from their homes in the city of Qingyuan.
