DVIDS— April is the Month of the Military Child, a time to highlight the extraordinary powers of these young champions. This year’s theme, "Military Child: Brave, Fearless, and Resilient," celebrates the exceptional qualities of military children and emphasizes the importance of recognizing their contributions and sacrifices within military Families and communities.

DVIDS—Nurturing resilience: The vital role of communication in military Families during the Month of the Military Child. Tucson, Ariz. — During April, as we pay tribute to the resilience and sacrifices of military Families and their children, it's crucial to acknowledge the significant role of effective communication within these distinct family units. The U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) chaplain team understands the importance, and organizes initiatives such as the Build Strong and Ready Teams (BSRT) events, which was recently held April 5-7 in Tucson, Arizona.

WKBN.com—Local school awarded for supporting military families. One local elementary school providing extra support for students of military parents who are deployed is now being recognized at the state level for it.

DVIDS—USS San Juan Celebrates Month of the Military Child. USS San Juan (SSN 751) celebrated the Month of the Military Child by hosting a “Bring Your Kids to Work Day” April 4.
