Brownsville Navigation District awards $32,000 in scholarships to seniors

The Monitor— Thirty-two graduating high school seniors from Brownsville area public and private high schools each will receive $1,000 scholarships through the Brownsville Navigation District’s 2024 Port of Brownsville Scholarship program.
www.brainerddispatch.com—Nisswa Lions award $24,000 in scholarships. 12 students from Brainerd High School and Pequot Lakes High School receive $2,000 scholarships from the Nisswa Lions.
WWLP.com—Four Springfield Sci-Tech seniors awarded scholarships through third annual Black History Oratorical Contest. Scholarships were awarded Tuesday night to young scholars for their essays and research, relating STEM developments made by Black and African American contributors.
Current—Black Public Media awards $610,000 to filmmakers, honors Sam Pollard with Trailblazer Award. The grants were announced at the 2024 PitchBLACK Forum in New York.
