AEP reports nearly 6,000 customers without power

KGBT— HIDALGO COUNTY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Power outages are being reported by AEP in Hidalgo County. According to the AEP Outage Maps, 12,081 customers are reported without power. AEP reports 3,974 outages in the Edinburg area and 1,193 outages in the Pharr-San Juan area. ValleyCentral reached out to AEP for a comment but did not receive []
KREM—5,000 Avista customers without power near Medical Lake and Airway Heights. The utility says they hope to have power restored by 9:45 Wednesday morning.
WANE 15—Nearly 1,400 I&M customers in Waynedale without power. The company’s outage map shows the outages are on the north end of Waynedale near Waynedale Cafe and the Waynedale BMV branch.
