A norovirus outbreak at Carver Elementary School in Long Beach, California, forced health officials to close the school after 136 students and staff reported symptoms.
At least 126 students and 10 staffers have reported symptoms of a gastrointestinal virus, the Long Beach health department said.
Illnesses at Carver Elementary were first reported to the Long Beach health department on Feb. 22. As many as 136 have reported illness.
Denver Public Schools will host a comment session about closing schools on Monday afternoon.
